Privacy policy for Fitball Pro

Effective date: 1 October 2026

Fitball Pro ("the app") is provided for Fitball Scotland. This policy explains what the app stores and why.

What we store

• Your first and last name, so the club can identify you.
• Your weight, recorded over time, so the app can track it week by week.
• Optional details, only if you choose to add them: height, nickname, target weight, emergency contact name, emergency contact number, and known health issues.

How we use it

We use this only to run the app for your club: your profile, your weight tracking, and, if you added them, your emergency details. Known health issues, if you add them, are kept so club staff know what to do in an emergency, for example a seizure on the pitch. They are not used for anything else. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is kept

Profile, weight, and any optional details are stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). Google processes that data as our provider.

How long we keep it

We keep it while you use the app and your club still needs it. You can ask us to delete your profile and weight history, and we will remove them unless the club must keep a copy for a legal reason.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, you can ask to see, correct, or delete your data, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
